User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars remote shutter release
The price was good for this item but probably will purchase the Sony one for future use. This one fits the remote shutter connector but kinda hard to do.

Sometimes a low price is not the best value. Have not used in the field yet but was actually reluctant to connect to my

Sony A350 as at first it did not seem compatible.

If budget is a factor, this is probably a good deal but if you want complete confidence, purchase the Sony.

5 Stars Good extra option for price.
I haven’t had a chance to use it much, but for the price I wanted one to have for the occasion I needed it. It seems to work great and a much better price than the brand name one.

5 Stars Just what I was looking for
I didn’t realize my SLR digital camera had a port for a remote release. This works so much better than the basic delayed timer. Good value, good product.

4 Stars Great Product
Really nice product for the price. I would like to eventually go to a wireless remote, but for now this is perfect! Recommend for anyone who is a photographer on a budget!

1 Star Can’t get it to work – but vendor is very responsive
I bought this for my Sony A100 DSLR and can’t get it to work at all. It’s hard to get the plug into place, and when it gets there it doesn’t work. In fairness, let me say that when contacted, the company was eager to send another one for me to try. I’m awaiting it’s arrival. The company was great to deal with so far, but we’ll see about the product. I’ll try to update this review when the new cable arrives. Don’t know if my unit is defective or not or if it is some problem with my camera, but I’d hold off on buying this if I were you…probably go with the Sony instead.
